Detailed Description

The 20ft x 8ft Mobile Office Container is fabricated using modified shipping container architecture, repurposing the structural strength of intermodal containers into a functional and transportable workspace.

The manufacturing process begins with a reinforced steel frame and COR-TEN steel panels, which are modified to accommodate personnel doors and window openings. The interior is then fitted with thermal and acoustic insulation. Approximately 100 mm of Rockwool mineral wool is installed within the wall and roof cavities to improve thermal performance and help reduce sound transmission.

The interior walls and ceiling are finished with durable, moisture-resistant cladding or laminated board, creating a clean and professional working environment. The electrical system is installed with concealed wiring for improved safety and appearance and includes a distribution board, circuit breakers, LED lighting, and strategically positioned power outlets.

The floor system consists of a structural plywood subfloor finished with durable vinyl or epoxy coating. This provides a hard-wearing surface suitable for regular foot traffic and office furniture, including rolling chairs.

The exterior is finished with a commercial-grade green coating applied over a suitable protective primer. This finish helps protect the steel structure from outdoor exposure while providing a professional appearance.
